Smellywelshman
Hi guys, I'm not really very up to speed with paypal and I'm selling a couple of things on fleabay for the first time. Now if whoever wins the items pays via paypal, how do I get the funds? At the mo they only have my credit card details, and I'm extremely wary of putting my bank account details into something on the internet! Will they credit my credit card or do I have to set up a direct debit with them and get verified and all that bollox? Thanks in advance, Smelly... Daston
you put your bank details in then when they win the bid they will pay paypal the money (who take 4%) you then log into paypal and widthdraw the money into what ever account have given them the details of (its free for all amounts of £50 and .50 for anything below that). It also takes up to 4 working days for it to clear into your account.
Blackie
you will need to verifie your bank account before you can withdraw, takes a week or so to do but piss easy
Smellywelshman
So they wouldn't be able to transfer the funds directly onto my credit card then? I thought is was unlikely but had my fingers crossed. 4%!?!!?! Holy moly, does a little sound clip play 'your money or your life' as you transfer the money a well!? marbleapple
Paypal is a pain in the ass... The rate they charge depends on how much business you put through it and whether you have a premier account or not. They make you verify a bank account and a credit card before you become 'verified'... both of which require deposits into your account and you confirming the amount. If you have verified your bank account only then you are limited to a monthly withdrawl of £500.
