Babe
How big's the property honey (ie potential occupancy)? Sprog and I can't manage with a built-in fridge and we're on our own! If it's bigger than a one-bed flat then buy the big fridge!

Branners
one thing to do on the price of the fridge freezer is to go to http://www.pricerunner.co.uk, find the cheapest price and then phone Dixons and as them to match it. They have an online price match policy and will match pretty much any genuine deal out there. I saved £120 on a washing machine by doing that. Oh, and I dont like the american 'walk in' fridges, just too large for most kitchens. We bought a standard fridge and thats the only thing in the kitchen thats not 'fully fitted' and it looks fine. tbourner
John Lewis do a price match thing as well, and they have 5 years warranty on most electricals - not sure if they'll do that fridge though!
