Chris Wilson
I'll share a somewhat funny, but true story. I had a school friend whose dad was killed in the war, as a fighter pilot. His mother had a black Labrador, and after Douglas Baders' dog she called it "N*gger". His mum got killed in a car crash, with the dog. In later years he too got a black labrador, and also called it "N*gger". He then got moved to Moss Side in Manchester, for 2 years, on some work thing. He had to try and re educate the dog to respond to Nero... You need to thinkl outside the box when naming children and animals

Supragal
I tend to go for simple names with dogs, so I can't suggest anything that would even vaguely interest you!!! For example, Spud.

For example, Spud. Was it you who mentioned the name 'Deeogee' or somesuch? I like that idea but Zoe didn't go for it. I wanted to call one of our cats 'Ceeaytee' but she didn't like that either. Akira's good.

Supragal
Fraggle would be cool. Although it's more a springer spaniel name!!
tbourner
If it's wolf like, how about Timber ?, as in timber wolf ?. Timber's another very common one in the Husky community. It's hard finding one that hasn't been used loads - which is why we're looking into Japanese names and stuff cos it's a bit different. I thought it was Guy Gibson (617 squadron leader, the dam busters) who had the black lab called N*gger? Incidntally, Gibson's lab got run over outside the airfield and was burried at midnight whilst Gibson was leading the raid on the dams. This was done at Gibson's request " as that way, if I get shot down we may well be entering the ground at the same time" or so the book says. I beleive 'ni*gger' was one of the code words sent back to signify one of the dams being breached too. History lesson over. As you were. Chris Wilson
It may well have been Gibson, not sure now, I think you are probably right though! Someone told me last night that the re make of some film or other that's been released has seen the dogs name changed, for the benefit of the PC brigade. Sod history, what does accuracy count for ?
