Urgent Paypal Advise

I wouldn't risk it, if someone is willing to pay the fees on an amount like that there is something not quite right.

i spoke to him about a bank transfer or cash but it seems that his company is paying for the car and its easier for them to pay via paypal.

once the cash is in my paypal account it possible for someone to have it refunded or will it be safe ?

Just transfer it out as soon as its in your paypal account, but keep the car untill is actually in your bank.

 I would be worried because even if you were to get the money, transfer it to your bank withdraw it and have the cash sitting infront of you Paypal could still do a chargeback at the customers request and then persue you for the £11k through the courts etc... So not a good idea ensure he pays cash, cheque or bankers draft as bank transfer is just as easy to get back.

This doesn't sound right to me! If he really wants the car then he should choose a more secure method of payment!

I wouldn't take any chances with that kind of money!

Cash, trust me, I used to sell a lot of cars, no WAY would I even discuss Paypal, or a draft. if he's got the money he can walk into any branch and get it out (N Rock maybe excepted...:)) If he raises issues let him sort them. If you do decide to risk paypal make HIM pay the 4% and don't release anything until you have it in your bank account, with a letter from both Paypal and your bank stating they are fully cleared funds and irrevocable. As that will be a PITA to sort, I would just get the cash!
