Thorin
From reading your other posts it would seem you have a TT. I'd recommend Chris Wilson's uprated clutch.

Sounds like it's had a hard life Chris Wilson's is a modified stock clutch (in much the same way as the basic RPS "Max" clutch is I believe) and drives like stock. Soonto_HAS_soop
I've got a seconhand Exedy twin plate that I was going to put up on ebay at some point, as I never got round to having the power to kill my TRD one. It has almost unworn plates in it too, if you fancy it PM me.
Nic
yeah its a TT, an its Jap spec but jus stock engine, it seems the original clutchs are not that good! Its only done 47,000 miles and gone already :S. 47K miles is good, I wish I got half that mileage out of mine. At BPU levels my last stock clutch (many moons ago) lasted 10K kms, although the type of driving here puts a huge strain on clutches. Even the TRD twin plate clutch I have on now only lasts about 20K kms. If you have a stock TT (and plan to keep it stock), then I would personally fit new stock Toyota clutch disc and cover. Uprated clutches can be heavy, noisy and not as smooth to use. If you're looking at increasing the power of the car to BPU levels, then I'd contact Chris Wilson about an uprated disc and cover. dmx75
and does Chris sell just stock Clutches as well?
Chris Wilson
and does Chris sell just stock Clutches as well? No, you can do just as good a deal by going to one of the Toyota main agents that gives trade prices to retail customers. My uprated stock clutch should be OK for your needs and torque. I sent a reply to your e-mail a moment ago. Thanks.
