Sorry to hijack this thread but wouldn't it be easier just to remove the Trac butterfly valve blade an leave all the electrics connected, hence no flashing lights on dash ? I don't know the answer its just a thought........ comments.

I've removed the Trac butteryfly and I'm going to remove the bulb aswell. I thought as I have the engine out I may aswell remove everything that I don't need :)

Just remember you need to route to the other side of car as the US abs pump is located beside the master cylinder.

That's excellent, thank you Bondango :). I've ordered the NA brake line from Mr.T, just need to get the bolt and the rubber caps(which seem impossible to find).

I performed this removal last year, you don't require any extra brake lines, I will back track what I did and take some pics when I get home for you...I do recall that the bolt required to block the ABS port up was a 10mm FINE thread.

cheers Jon

here you go, your correct with your pic, that is where the pressure feed is routed back into the abs...You need the correct pitch bolt 10mm fine thread to block off the port on the abs , this went to the trac...Also if you wish you can remove the line along the bulkhead that comes from the master...You will have 2 ports on the reservoir to block off too, the one that goes to the trac, and the other goes to the trac pump which is under the reservoir..

hope this helps:)
