louisjames Posted September 16, 2007 Share Posted September 16, 2007 hello, can anyone tell me how to remove steering wheel? took out centre and undone bolt but wont move, is it a puller job? also, problem is passenger door locking but not unlocking with the button or key, i checked cables and all fine, i removed drivers door panel and it started working just moving the door panel, when i put the door card back on it stopped working. has anyone had this before, do they suffer with wires breaking down atall or are the switch units tempromental. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What you need to do is, if u got one, get a multimeter set to Continuity or Ohms, then test the wires between the multiplug for the Lock and where it goes to... then just wiggle the wires... becuase when you say that it started to work with the door card off, then it point towards a broken wire making contact when moving other parts...
