Jim_1979
Do you need a seperate cooler for the Auto transmission with a ASI rad?
bmx1lew
you do yeah, go for the golpher, I am really pleased with mine, perfect fit and really good weld job on it, looks great! Here is mine as you can see its bent at the side where the clamp goes, Im going to sort that tomorrow just need to bend it with pliers Only down side now is i need shiney parts for it to match and colour hoses. Jim_1979
Yeah, I've PM'd Nic about a Golpher rad.
Pabs
Golpher rad still looks good then, but an auto cooler is also needed. Not sure what to go for yet - certainly don't have the budget this month!?!? but found mine has a leak
Pabs
out of interest folks - do people still use stock rad-caps on these aftermarket rads? Or do/can you use the higher pressure caps from TRD etc? And do they come supplied with new caps? Ta
SteveR
Pabs, give Chris Wilson a shout, he has Auto Toyota rads cheaper than Toyota themselves and not that much more than these ebay jobbies.
Jim_1979
I was understanding with the golpher rad you didn't need a seperate autobox cooler?
bmx1lew
sorry i worded things wrong, I meant "yeah you do yeah" replying to the question about the ASI rad, The Golpha rad does not need a autobox cooler.. the asi ones does. If your not going through nic i can provide a direct contact to the fella i used, radiator turned up in about a week, was a great help.. think he is english, either that or better at it then me. There was no communication problems at all. I Highly recomend the Golpher rad, Quallity is fantastic the weldin looks sweet, also giving it a go with autosol when you get it gives it a even better shine. I used the cap that came with it 1.1 my stock was 0.9 i think Lew.
