Soaruss
Are the electric arials easy to come by second hand?? do they come up second hand often or would i be better off buying new and how much??
hogmaw
There should be a few knocking about for £25 - £40 as there was quite a big stubby ariel buy recently meaning there are a lot of spare ariels around
BigDino
I also need one and been quoted £99.99 for 2 places near me. Personally think thats rather dear for a bloody areial, just listen to cd's now, but if needs must.

Geo
My ariel went a few months back, bought one of a member on here £15 and took me about an hr to fit, its kind of figity to do. Once done though its easy. Geo
razza
what doesn't work about it? If it's just not going up or down it may just need a new mast, which is a lot cheaper than a full ariel....easy to replace

razza
when you turn the stereo on you should hear the whirring noise, if you can't hear naything then the motor has gone. If you hera it but no movement of the mast you just need to replace the mast (likely that the plastic thread has snapped off in the motor)
