Getrag
Could not believe it when I heard it! So sad. I guess we think that these driving gods are simply untouchable and it makes it even more painful when they die early. RIP, thoughts with his family. Chiefgroover
After his friend and fellow competitor Bertie Fisher was killed in a copter a few years back I decided to never set foot in one again, and this just hardens my views. Tragic loss of a great guy.

Rory
Absolutely gutted to hear this, such a talented driver , a real motorsport icon and an inspriation to so many myself included. I live just a few miles from his home town of Lanark, and a friend of mine lives next door to Jimmy McRae. Met him and he was really nice bloke, feel so bad for the family now losing Colin and his young boy. Condolences to the other family involved also of course, how horrible for them

far
I think they pulled up at the top of the lane where he lives - the crash happened near his house too. Dont think his family will appreciate a load of scoobies turning up
