sound proof inside bonnet

yea its good for keeping the engine bay cooler hence the bonnet soaking up the heat:thumbs:

i took mine off too, read somewhere it was heavy so thought i would take off. not that heavy at all.

 

only big difference i have niticed when my window motor cable went i drove round a couple of days with no door lining and you could really hear the dump valve. it seemed to come into cabin.

Neither car has self destructed due to it's removal. But I would replace it with a fire extinguisher as I believe it's there for fire suppressing.

 

Although with an as-yet-unlagged single turbo downpipe directly under the drivers' side screen washer, I have boiled the fluid in there before :eek: Steam comes out the nozzle when the button is pressed :thumbs: No frozen lines for me in winter!
