Grazer
Fitted my Walbro & NGK plugs today. I'd done a search and was prepared for the battle getting the black plastic ring off (took Jake's advice & got the hammer out). Unfortunately it took about 1 hour to get it back on - it just kept slipping on the thread and wouldn't go on evenly. Anyway, I got there in the end and now she's running beautifully. Not a hint of misfire at any revs Plus, I had been over-boosting (up to 1.4 with CW restrictor ring!), which has now settled down and I'm maxing at 1.1bar So, now that everythings sorted......what can I do to upset things next

Homer
Some basic stuff: One thing I found to make a nice improvement was to change the fuel filter (only with a standard one). Seems simple, but I've heard of a number of j-specs that have these fouled up. Mine was really clogged and after changing it made a huge improvement to performance and made for a much smoother idle. Even with a CW restrictor ring, since changing this I hit the 1.2something bar TRL fuel cut in 4th, 5th and 6th gear. Also (if you haven't already), change your gearbox and diff oil for some decent performance stuff. It won't make any noticeable performance improvement but certainly makes things feel a lot smoother. Other than that, maybe an FMIC or CW SMIC, booster controller, bigger injectors + fuel controller...?
terawua
Where is the standard fuel filter? Mine is all lumpy on idle.. think I might try this. James
Homer
Look underneath the car in the passenger side footwell and you should be able to see it. The pic attached shows an uprated one, but its in the same place as the standard one.

Grazer
How much is a new fuel filter? Other than that, maybe an FMIC or CW SMIC, booster controller, bigger injectors + fuel controller...? I've already got a CW SMIC, so I guess the boost controller's the next step
