RedM
Does the main riff to Cream's 'sunshine of your love' sound similar to 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida' by Iron Butterfly. I don't have either track but keep humming one and morphing to the other. Anyone?

Animal
Yeah, I'll give you that one. It'd be easy to switch between the two riffs. BTW - Slayer did a bitchin' cover of In A Gadda Da Vida...

Not really, each one is quite distinct. In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is more 'flat' and repetitive Some riffs are being circulated time and again, some due to chance others due to outright copying. But these two are different (although not too different - coming from the same era and aiming at a similar audience)
Burna
I used to get the two mixed up.

JohnA
Geriatric galore After having the misfortune of seeing other 70s rock groups performing 20-30 years after their prime, I'd think twice before shelling out for the extortionate prices that tend to be charged. Sorry guys, but I haven't got wholla lotta love for balding, wrinkled performers who've lost their voice on top of the arthritis and keep squeeling 'babe...babe...' I'm a big LedZep fan by the way, just don't want to spoil it now. After seeing Steve Harley live (and on TV complaining about his Tiny PC) Cockney Rebel are never the same. Same as Pink Floyd. Thanks, but no thanks.
Jspec Germany
I kinda thought the same thing, but I'd still kill to see the stones. Almost had tickets a month ago for a show in Dusseldorf.
JohnA
I think that the Stones are the exception that verifies the rule (are you dazed and confused now?) Maybe because they haven't stopped performing since the 60s, who knows. The people are a bundle of energy, I'm not a particular fan of theirs but hell, I admire their momentum.
