miko_supra
and that was litterally the best around. i think next best was budget that was like 1900 tpft
supracharged
ensign, sky, and oddly admiral have been good for me, mainly sky though. had a supe at 21 with no no claims but was a little over £2k and others import / modded cars from 19 takes alot of pateints to go through all them insurance companies to find one that insures you on an import when your under 21! Guest daz 6576
for a young driver i think that elephant is the best big plus if you pay it all in one go it will work out hundreds cheaper like it did for me i saved about 400 quid
gaz1
the only company that would insure my boy, he is 19 although lots of mods on his, was sky and that was after a lot of ear bashing from me:rolleyes: but it still cost 2.5k and they would only do it third party:(
jevansio
Could his parents not insure it on one of those policies where named drivers (him) also earn NCB???

Class One
Andy I would suggest he rings around and then goes to Sky last with his best quote and see if they can beat it. However he won't be entitled to the club discount scheme unless he's a paid up member as they will ask for his membership confirmation. Guest Geneb
whats theres a club discount? robin
I an 21 and had a couple of years no claims, the best quote I could get on any jspec, TT or NA was £2400. Then they quoted 900 for a UK. I am with admiral. I guess all he can do is try as many insurers as possible and hope for the best.
bmx1lew
dont sting me for giving bad advise here, however my boss at work, chris is 23 and he has his dad insure the car (highly tuned evo 7 fq320 or summit) then chris uses his insurance which is on a 306 however it allows him to drive any car with the owners concent so he explained, dont know if its a safe alternative im sure some one here can advise on this one.
