Faye
I picked up a tailgate with glass for less than £100. Seemed like a bargain to me
michael
You'll at least need a van to pick it up in wont you The glass on it's own fits nicely into the back of a Supra, a tailgate is a whole new nightmare, especially if you arrive 100's of miles away with a van that proves to be too small by about 2mm Basically I had rust on my UK hatch, I bought a J-Spec one to replace it, this turned out to be previously repaired to a standard I wasn't happy with. So I've just had the J-Spec hatch resprayed, the UK glass put into it and a few other "tweeks". The hatch I now have spare is too rusty to do much with (usual place at bottom of window) but I have a spare J-Spec (with aerial - do they all have these?) rear window with a fairly dark tint on that I want to sell on eBay or here should someone need it. The work done has cost more than anticipated so I just want to make a bit of cash, unsure where to price it though and I could get killed if I dare to say "offers" It's one of those things you don't tend to need until someone throws a brick through yours, I guess it's a quick way to tint the rear and fix a heater element though Apparently if you set them on fire the glass melts into a nice puddle. Jezz
They're fookin expensive new IIRC. Second hand around £100. Never sold one seperately, just complete tailgates.
