Hi

I Want to buy a quality Single Turbo kit and I think in these two now PHR Stage 2+ Dbb vs HKS T51R KAI what is your advice ?

Also I need to know what I need to buy more parts if you can descrive all parts ist's betther for me tanks.

Hi, a search for single builds on here will give you a better understanding of what is required, either of these turbos will require an ECU upgrade, fuelling upgrade, Clutch upgarde perhaps looking at engine internals as well as these are pushing big power

I remember HOMER posting this list, it is quite an eye opener !

Here is the breakdown of the MINIMUM cost you can do a conversion to a BL T67dbb. I've searched around and think I've found the cheapest suppliers on all parts.

Some comments on these costs:

1) It assumes you are starting from a basic TT 6spd (auto will be much more)

2) The dbb is only around $300 more expensive to complete than the non dbb version and only $400 more than a T61.

3) This assumes the installation is done by a professional and that £800 labour is charged (It will be more if every item is fitted by a professional)

4) You don't get caught by IR on the import from the US

Here's the list in case you don't have Excel:

Buy a proven car with it already done!!!

Agree.

PHR Stage 2+ (67mm) is one size smaller than the Kai (70mm). The Kai is quite old too and spools pretty late...but the sound of the Kai is unbeatable. check this out

that is the only reason i would go with a kai....otherwise phr stage 3 hands down
