michael
It's a bit of a PITA typing using the keypad but I'm used to a PDA setup so a hardcore texter might be OK I'm on T-Mobile web & walk so get unlimited free internet access, usually over a 3G connection which is nice and fast, screen is a little small but the scaling options work OK, I wouldn't want to have to use all the time but it's fine for those moments when you need it on the move. The 8 gig N95 should be out soon though so you might want to hang on for that or get a cheap normal N95 once that one causes prices to crash. The black 8gb is a sexy bitch but they seem to have removed the camera lens cover to make room for the higher capacity battery. http://www.nokia.co.uk/link?cid=PLAIN_TEXT_376490
Guest Jason-B
thanks Michael, what does the 8gb refer to? (sorry for sounding thick) and any idea what the browsing speed is?
michael
thanks Michael, what does the 8gb refer to? (sorry for sounding thick) and any idea what the browsing speed is? Apologies, it has 8GB of internal memory, at the moment the phone relies on memory cards being inserted in the side to get any storage. Browsing speed varies, it's capable of 3G at ~380Kbps and also has HSDPA so in theory it could get 1.4mb > 14mb connections but I've yet to notice, there is no way of knowing what you are connected to other than 3G or no 3G. Shouldn't be a problem, you can set it up to email from hotmail without having to go to their site, then it's like sending a text message The messaging side of things allows you to add as many email accounts as you like. Jake
My N95 battery life is fine. I don't make many calls a day (I have a phone at home and at work for that ) but I always get at least 2 days between charging the battery. Not have BT and WLAN on when you don't need them helps a lot.
