sarjo
FORD FOCUS ST2 OR ST3 OR VAUXHALL ASTRA VXR OR TRIPLE 8 Does anyone have any experience of either of these?
michael
Integra DC5 or new Civic Type R saloon FTW. 3 mates of mine all went and bought the ST's in the same month, they all rave about them but I can't see the appeal, despite it's name it's not focused enough, it's capable enough though I guess. EVO magazine used to have one on their fleet, they ruined the handling with clown car wheels but seemed to like it. I seem to recall them liking the Golf GTi and Mégane Trophy more though. http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/61251/ford_focus_st.html http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evolongtermtests/209859/ford_focus_st.html This one sounded fun: http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/206855/ford_focus_st.html
R Black
For the 1st time EVER i'd pick the diesel, i'd never heard of it til now.
Thorin
Weren't they only making 100 of the 888's and they'd all been sold? I prefer Michael's choices too.
Ian W
JDM Civic Type R....cracking looking cars, 4 door practicality and there's a vid of one beating an NSX on the track Other than that, DC5 as Michael suggested.

tbourner
How about an EK9 CTR? OK so they're 8 years old now, but it's a Honda after all! Can get them imported for about £8k I think - it'd have to be white obviously!
RedM
No need for that kind of language. Good car. Fast and chuckable. I'd love one as a daily driver.
waderz06
Take the 888. I had a little race against one the 1st week i bought my N/A. For a diesel it kept up really well. So well in fact that it made me want to sell my car!! Total kick in the nuts but you've got to give it credit........ Its still a diesel

Harps
I've got an Astra VXR - its great fun. Looks agressive and really stands out. Good amount of power for FWD, even managed to annoy a 350z in it a few months back. Other than a sensor going funny after all the floods I've had no problems with it.
