ukApache Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 A couple of months ago i referb'd the starter motor (new contacts etc.) i just changed out a ~5 month old battery for a Bosch Silver, I've checked that the alternator is charging (battery goes to ~14V when the engine is on), i found a drain of about 13.3mA before I changed the batt. (ammeter between (-) terminal and the disconnected (-) lead) but now when I check for drain i get nothing I also have no error codes stored?? Once running, the car is fine but it doesn't like starting. Anyone any ideas please??? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I mean I have to crank it for about 5 secs before it fires where as it starts almost instantly when the battery was new.
