CJ
I currently have an "over the head" type moblie phone headset that, in a certain light, makes me look like Madonna I have decided to join in with the other groovy people and buy a bluetooth headset for my Sharpe GX30 phone but dont have a clue which to go for. Any reccomendations?
attilauk
Just go and test a load of them get the one which is most comfortable! you might find the sharp one has some extra features that are linked to your phone but if you cant stand to wear it then whats the point of having it. paul_y3k
Col, I'm not sure if you wear glasses when driving (sunnys?) but one thing that I haev found is for me its difficult to wear the in your ear type and the arm of the glasses tends to stop it resting properly. best thing is to try and test lots and see what you like
CJ
I wear "seeing" glasses rather than sunnys as my eyesight is crap! I will try a few and see what I think although the Plantronics M3000 looks favourite so far.

Supragal
I had one a few years back, it was cool until it got wet (I mean like light rain wet not dropped in pond wet) and then it crackled like buggery and I gave up. You will look crazy walking round Sainsburys "talking to yourself" though
CJ
I am not going to use it walking round Sainsbury's etc - I think that looks very un:cool: I really only want to use it in the car

Green Peace
I bought a Sony Ericsson HBH60 headset which was then replaced for a newer model when it kept going wrong the new one sounds like Im in a goldfish bowl above 30mph and no-one can hear me. The Sony Ericsson was £130 when I bought it originally yet my brother and some mates bought the Jabra one that Gaz was talking about for about £30 squid and its excellent... The Sony Ericsson looks cool yeah.....but dosn't work. The Jabra is not quite as cool looks wise but it works and is at least half or even a third of the price of others...and its better qaulity.... It wont make you look like Madonna or CJ though.
geoffvalenti
I've got a Jabra BT200, had it for about a year now, it works well in the car, even the noise the Supra makes I sometimes have to shut the window though, when I use voice dialling. For £50 or so you really can't go too wrong.
Steve Cargill
I had a Plantronics M3000. Useless. Sounds awful unless you are in total silence and if it's in your pocket it makes lots of potentially embarasing phone calls as the BIG button on one side does a redial if held down. I had an HBH-30 which worked well until it died and was replaced by an HBH-35 which worked very well, both quality and ease of use (apart from the button was a little too small, but hettern than beinng too big). That also died after 6 months so I'm back to using a bit of wire!
hogmaw
I got one recently and had to send it back cos the radio frequency interferred with the car alarm! As soon as I went near the car with it the alarm went off... weird eh
Sharpie
Do you need to check the "talk time" on these for the battery power ? Or do they have an in-car charger LOL
Clarkey
The headsets don't seem to be getting any smaller do they ?? I passed a lady in the corridor today - she had a BT headset. it looked like something Uhura -from Star Trek would use. Hailing Frequencies Open!
