I had the static bling meter when I joined Supraforums in 2002, as far as I can remember I brought that over and then swapped it to the slightly animated one later. Animal Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Several reasons have been given to me being known as Animal and to be fair, they're mostly correct. It's been linked to the W.A.S.P song of the same name I'm a drummer But really it comes down to when I was 18 or so and a few of us used to hang out at a seafront pub in Lytham. I used to have a big custom bike (named the Fanny Magnet for good reason) and one night, I had to girls pestering me for give 'em a spin up Blackpool prom. I blagged my mate's lid and the first lass got on and we went for a blat, dropped her off and picked her mate up and did another circuit of the promenade. Now both these girls were in hippy dresses so when I got back to the car park (which was crowded with students mostly enjoying the summer), I got off the bike, turned round and licked the pillion seat with an evil grin. I wanted to see if they'd had fun That got greated with a chorus of "oh, you animal" and for weeks after that I got "It's that animal again" and it stuck.
