Soop Dogg Posted November 25, 2004 Share Posted November 25, 2004 I would have expected to see a solenoid rather than a motor to operate the central locking. Shouldn't there be one in each door? TRD3000GT Posted November 25, 2004 Author Share Posted November 25, 2004 Dont bother thanks! I have located the solenoid unit and managed to make some headway!! I pulled the plug out had a quick look and put it back in and the doors locked! Its either a tempermental unit or a tempermental connection! But the one problem I have is that Its near impossible to get the unit out of its place! Any ideas? Its either a loose connection or the unit! We are making some headway Thanks for all the help! Im going to go to toyota and tell them I have located the problem and want my £45 back as they are pathetic! How should I go about removing the unit ?? any ideas?
