Thorin
Bit more on this on BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6981541.stm They'd already been followed by Norwegian jets, and the Russians appear to be "stepping up activity".

Mike_Mac
Scary Stuff indeed! Not really - Biggles could have single-handedly taken out those Bears in his Sopwith Camel . They were obsolete for front-line service in the 80's and are beyond ropey now. Russia's military is generally in the same state as the rest of the country, so if Putin wants to flex something he no longer has then let him crack on IMO. R Black
theyve been flying over for months now. the papers have only just got hold of a few of the times theyve been intercepted but its happening everyday all over britain. theres nowt to worry about, they cant do anything Can't do anything? or not really interested in doing anything, they are basically saying to our government theyre back on the map & we do as we like so know your place, they've recently refused to hand over a murderer to us & put a flag under one of the poles and claimed as there terratory, they slept for a few decades now theyre back, anyone here seen their Sukhoi forward swept wing jet. Anyways war is NOT imminent
