Nic
Common problem with Veilside spoilered Supras. You could fit new boot dampers, although I'm not sure even these would be able to support the weight of the wing.

Jamesy
ahh right - so its just the spoiler weighing the thing down? prob nothing wrong with the dampers.... oh well... will learn to live with it for now!
Supragal
I was gonna say... you got a Veilside spoiler?? lol I have but mine stays open. Guess I'm just lucky

Havard
No shit, they're heavy! When Dazla's failed I tried to open his boot at Mascrat!! You dampers are probably beginning to fail but the fact that you have the wing from a space shuttle on your boot will only accelerate the process......... H. H. lol - i was waiting for the day i got ribbed for my "subtle" spoiler!! i was tryig to see what sub i could fit in the boot yesterday - removing the spare wheels and trying to juggle subs while taking the weight of that boot on my shoulders was a KILLA!! Branners
many Veilside owners carry a large stick in the car with which they prop open the boot when loading in shopping etc. JB

RobSheffield
many Veilside owners carry a large stick in the car with which they prop open the boot when loading in shopping etc. They also use it to clear out small animals nesting in there and hit people who are laughing at them
b.weeks
Yeah, I used to have a Veilside spoiler which after time wouldn't stay open, I had a brolley in the boot to keep it open when required. I swapped it for a standard spoiler and the boot now feels so light!

Branners
People put shopping in their Supras?! yes, but only very flat shopping, like smoked salmon, ham slices, pizza and Kraft Cheese slices in individual packages. Any food that isnt flat when it goes in certainly is when it comes out. JB

IIRC the veilside spoiler uses the existing holes for the stock spoiler. But you will probably find alot of sticky glue residue substance stuff, should come off pretty easy though. EDIT: actually.. now I think about it, hasn't your car has a re-spray? If so you may find too ghastly unpainted patches when you take your spoiler off. Suppose they would be sorted when you got a new spoiler painted.
