Aerotop Dave
(don't think this is 'technical forum' as it's more about the cosmetic side) I want a boost gauge in place of the clock but I have two requirements: Firstly that it doesn't have a white or black dial, and secondly that the ringpiece... ...doesn't stick out too far from the dash. Now I've been eyeing up this one http://www.speedhut.com/el_detail_gauge.asp?auto_number=439&bhcp=1 as I can have a custom dial as well but look at that blob of a ring on the outside - that's gonna sit very proud from the dash I suspect. (and I just noticed that it doesn't say if that one is 52mm or not) So any suggestions for a boost gauge that is more flush with the dash, 52mm to replace the clock, and doesn't have a white or black dial? I don't care about the colour of the ring as I can always spray it to match my dash, I just want the thing to be flush. Or does anyone know of a 52mm-flush-with-dash gauge that you can change the dial face on? They all look like sealed units to me. Have tried http://hp.autometer.com/homepage/homepage.html and Demon Tweeks and the traders on here without success.
