chrisbilling
Dear All, I have a set of Volk racing GTU's that i have fitted to my Supra TT. the sizes are: front 17" x 7 et 30 215 tyres Rear 17" x 8 et 35 235 tyres the fronts look ok, but the rears and too far in, can i use wheel spacers to bring them out? I understand that these wheels are 1" too narrow front and rear, and that the Supra uses a et of 50. All comments appreciated. Thanks Chris
Guest Garfy
yeah spacers will bring them out, its not ideal though, how far out do you need to go?
Mike B
Stock offset is 50, so you are too far out already in a prefect world. If you bring them further out your geometry will be even further out, and the handling will be worse, plus how will the spacer effect the spigot? if it doesn't support the wheel properly like the stock rim then you risk shearing wheelbolts. *voice of doom*

Nic
Chris read these before deciding whether you want to fit spacers http://planetsoarer.com/offset/studs.htm http://planetsoarer.com/offset/offset.htm Personally I would recommend selling the wheels and buying a set in the correct size and offset.
