Dave F
Diving on the M20 a little while ago. Was cruising at about 60 saw a nice clear stretch and put my foot down a bit got to about 95 when the misses says slow down theres a white van on that bridge. Sure enough it was a camera van, does anybody know if they get the fastest speed I was doing or at a certain point as I did slow down very rapidly. I already have 3 points could this be a lost licence I searched previous threads and it seems there is no rule as to how many points e.t.c. Dave F ( currently bricking it!!!) tbourner
Just have to wait and see. You could always just not send the letter back when you get it!! When they say they're taking you to court say you never recieved it and quote the post office numbers of lost letters each year!!! I've heard it's worked before. Fingers crossed mate! indicated 95 is probably 'only' 88ish so could just be the three points. It may not have even been operating at the time etc. Nowt you can do for now but wait.......... Bobbeh
I got flashed by 2 motorists yesterday warning me about a speed trap. Funny thing was it was pointing in their direction not mine. Was nice though

I'd love to do this.. Anything to F**k with the system:devil: ..... Must stay calm back to GTA San Andreas
hogmaw
If they get you deny you were driving and that it was someone else taking your car for a test drive cos you were trying to sell it? Of course they did not buy it, and you have no idea who they were and where they live...
tbourner
Not an excuse any more - they've closed that loophole too. Best way is to claim you never got the letter. They won't start using registered post cos it's bloody annoying!! The post office admit to losing letters all the time. When you get the second one claim the same thing. If you go to court then you would have to say you were there etc and pay the fine but it won't get that far cos the police just want easy money - if you argue about it they give up pretty quick!! Dude:flame Dev Yep, the specialist I went to, over 60 y/o very well off and well spoken told me he got stopped by the police for doing exactly that - warning oncoming motorists of a speed trap. They actually went to all that trouble of turning round and going back after him. Sod the burglars/rapists/chavs/troublecausers like..... thats obviously a better use of police time isnt it?
