dazla
I fished a match today in the pouring rain, The rain caused the banking to be very slippery. As i was walking to my peg, i slipt on some bloody duck shit and went head over tit in the lodge with all my tackle. The shock was unbelievable, the lads said all they could see was a big splash and my hat floating on top of the water and then i my head popped up. Even one of the lads wet him self laughing. I didnt catch nothing all day but no doubt i'll have a cold tomorrow:d

Ewen
:)When you say 'again', I assume you've done that before ? My ex brother in law once decided to show me how to fish the proper way. He got me up at 4 in the morning and spent an hour loading the car with a metric tonne of expensive gear. We drove a hundred miles, tramped through a mile of brambles and got to 'his secret place'. Two minutes after the ground bait went in he was attacked by a wasp. Screaming his head off and running around like a lunatic he broke his rod, fell in, climbed out, ran into a branch and that was the end of that. We packed up and went home again. I think he was allergic or something:D

I fell in with a full all in one thermal suit on, and believe me it was feckin heavy. I had to be dragged out:blink: other times are when i've not open a chair proper and gone head first or even backwards in the water.

Mrs H
Might be worth investing in some armbands or a rubber ring for in your fishing tackle box! Vicki

Stonkin
thats funny mate, sorry! i remember fishing many years ago, a few friends turned up and i brought the keepnet out the water to show them what i had caught. When i threw it back i forgot to let go and went straight in with it, and got pretty tangled up in it in the process!

dr_blackman
Lol, I fell in the river the other year The football got kicked down the bank and it was resting by a tree right over hanging the river, I tried getting down to get it but instead I went slipping down the bank on my arse and went straight in... was funny for everyone else but at the time I wasn't laughing lol... now i think its funny!
