Some modding is required, nothing too demanding though. Have at butcher's at these links : http://www.lee-mawby.net/supra%20details.htm#Bodywork%20Modifications http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18449 Edit : That first link doesn't work in FireFox. If it doesn't work in your browser Click on Toyota Supra at the top then on Bodywork in the Tech Spec bit

terribleturner
Yeah i bought the same ones (like merkx) from this seller. Fit and look great. Did have to buy a couple of harnesses from toyota, but 10-15 min job, specially in the cold:p
Elmo
Cool. I ordered the indicators earlier today and look forward to getting them. You said you had to buy some harnesses from Toyota, I thought they would be almost a straight swap?
merckx
I thought they would be almost a straight swap? They're only a straight swap on the facelift car which use the same sort of bulb holder - wedge type that you push in. The earlier cars use the bayonet type that you push in and turn. Elmo
Blimey, I didn't think any wire chopping was involved - I always balls these things up completely! a 5 min job will take me weekend Is it easy once you've got the parts from toyota? terribleturner
Don't be worried. It really is easy. Then only real trouble i had is removing the headlights carefully. But now i could do it in my sleep. Much easier than it all sounds. Make sure you have the harnesses when you start the job and it'll all come clear when you look at them all. One note to add is that the left is different from the right for some stupid reason. You can get the exact part but those no real need as you need to cut then ends off. The harnesses from Toyotaare the actual bulb holders that will fit into the indicators. These need to be attached to the existing loops. Very easy. Pete
Elmo, As you're doing this, would you mind making as many notes as you can? Reckon I'll do this myself in the near future and it'd save some head scratching. I'll probably host a how to on it or something along with all the part numbers / suggestions / links I've just researched up. What are you planning to do with the existing light in the main headlamp? I've seen people put LEDs in there (not my cup of tea). I was thinking of getting the insides sprayed whilst they're out, I wonder if the existing sidelight housing can be removed and filled to look like face lift lights? Cheers, Pete
