Sheefa
It's a bit long winded, but hey that's life. I want to know why we don't do the same for the true contributors to the Nation, like Churchill. He's achieved a lot more than Di ever did.Had an argument with my mum about this last night. It's stupid. Greg
Todd
the thing with Diana is she was actually seen doing good regularly, as opposed to the rest, who mostly appear at functions and the like, giving concocted speeches. Not true actually, Princess Anne does more charity work then any other royal and always has but she just didn't thow herself in front of a camera every time she saw one Not a fan of Di at all, just need to think of those photos of her at an operation and the interview about her break up with Charles, just a world class media whore imo. I stand corrected, as for media coverage, Anne does'nt get it because she is not a media darling, never has been never will be.
Todd
Anne does'nt get it because she is not a media darling, never has been never will be. Ahh but she was at one point, used to appear on Question of Sport, was in the olympics and before Diana appeared on the scene she was frequently in the papers. Not an Anne groupie by the way, many moons ago was in the Royal Signals and as she was the Colonel-in-Chief we were made to know a bit about her. Actually met her at Earls court and was the only human one out the lot, Andrew came across OK but he had Fergie with him and I think he was in shock as they were getting married in 2 weeks time, poor bstid

He was a class englishman who died for his contry....ok he died for his stupididty saying that the Turkish archers were sh1t and to prove his point he decided to march up and down the rampart with no armour and alas was killed by an arrow! However thats the sort of man we should remember!!

Tourniquet
I liked her but didn't really take much notice of her when she was here then felt a bit sad when she died. I was on the ferry to France on the night to see Michael Jackson live in Belgium but it was cancelled as we were told he had dinner with them that night when they left on the drive that killed them. Anyway I think it was too much at the time, they should have let her rest in piece so when it comes to round numbers like the 10 year anniversary it's not like 'here we go again' when she's mentioned. She was a good lady and even if she was killed by the Royals it'll never come out because they won't let it no matter how many enqiries are asked for etc. Although out of date and un-needed they still are the Monarchy. I mean this in the sense that if Gordon Brown or even the Queen wants a law passed for example then that's it - no arguing or fart arsing around, that's it, end ofcause they are head of England. But obviously it's not like that so what are they even needed for apart from to waste public money and sign crap laws as they are put through. Just leave her alone imo.
