Ewen
She reminded me of a cross between Uma Thurman and Barry Manilow. Gangly, shapeless, thin lips, massive feet balanced by a collosal conk. Average bint, hyped to the max.

All I know Dave is that I wouldn't be crawling over you to get to either of them! Especially Di as I reckon the smell could be an issue!! *crossed the line* Sorry! H. Ewen
There is one thing I'll never fully understand. Princess Di is not really my type - but I sure as hell wouldn't cheat on her with Camilla! The age old issue. He'd rather it was in frequently rather than infrequently. By the way, was it true the coroner was overheard singing zippetty dodi, zippetty di ? Charlotte
I saw Prince Harry lately, christ he's actually quite nice! Clearly not got the windsor genes. There obviously isn't anything going on in the world lately. I mean last night, ITN did a full on feature about T-Pau making a come back. Class One
I saw Prince Harry lately, christ he's actually quite nice! Clearly not got the windsor genes. That's because his genes come from James Hewitt. My stag weekend was the same weekend as her death, kind of ruined it a bit as we had something lined up at Silverstone and it was cancelled. My wedding was on the day of the funeral. It didn't ruin our day, infact we had a full on party and had a right result as my work colleagues were in the frame for working at the funeral, but a bit of negotation on my part got things swapped around and another team was assigned to do "our bit" and we had a right royal piss up. The only thing we couldn't have we're the church bells. No great loss really, but I pity the stupid tossers who cancelled their weddings "out of respect". Twats. As if she would have given a flying f*ck.

Class One
Yer Class one sums you up. *expects ban* What because I enjoyed my wedding day? Don't get me wrong, I'm actually a Royalist and proud to hold : A warrant of Office, A Queens Jubilee medal. But my wedding wasn't gong to be ruined by a former member of the Royall Family. Whilst I felt for her children, life goes on. Day in day out, and I for one wasn't going to be drawn into the faux grief malarkey for someone that I didn't know, or who didn't know me. If you think that sums me up, then you are, sir, clearly mistaken.

garethr
There is one thing I'll never fully understand. Princess Di is not really my type - but I sure as hell wouldn't cheat on her with Camilla!Doesn't that tell you something about what it was like to live with Diana Spencer? What I don't understand is that usually women criticize men for preferring younger, prettier women, but where Camilla is concerned, they criticize Charlie for preferring an older, not so pretty woman. garethr
I'd had enough when the whole country went into that embarrassing public display of hysterical grief 10 years ago. I was almost ashamed to be British. Wait until we hit 2012 and the Olympic venues are still only half finished. Then you WILL be ashamed to be British. Something else I don 't much care about...... Sparky
she was a gift we destroyed. IMHO You say that like its our fault? Anyways People DIE believe it or not is a fact of life. When my Gf's mum died did she get a yearly memorial service held accross the country... uh Noooo! So what makes Di any more special. If i was stinking rich and didnt have to work then i would go and do the same charity work as her. IMHO she did nothing special, or at least nothing that none of us could do if we tried (Or were stinking rich because we pay for them to go to sod all! The thing with Diana is she was actually seen doing good regularly, as opposed to the rest, who mostly appear at functions and the like, giving concocted speeches. This in itself set her apart from the rest, so she DID did give a damn, she was also more aesthetically pleasing than the rest which the papers loved.(yes i would have:sly:) Thing is she was stinking rich, which is not the same as one of us on here saying im selling my house/flat supra:blink:, everything giving it to charity & going to help in the 3rd world. What i will say in the royals defence is as far as i can ascertain they bring in more money than they spend/waste, from tourism, this however is not visible earnings, but is still there never the less. To the answer would i? Absolutly. There are wonderful women/men doing charity work all over the country everyday for no recognition or thanks. I appreciate she did a lot of charity work, and she certainly changed perceptions of the royals to a certain extent. But she had heaps of money and manipulation of the press to make it work in the favour of the charities.

SupraAyf
I cant remember the last time I heard "Did you see that important thing that royal did".... Their list of duties to the country seems to be.. 1) Unvailing new buildings or smashing bottles against new super liners. 2) Flying first class to Ethiopia, using the little money that the country has to produce a nice welcome party, walk around for a day or 2 saying things like "How terrible" and "we should do something about this"... And then flying First class back to their million £ houses in the counrtyside! 3) Dring tea. 4) Spending public money on fancy weddings and party's for their friends and family. 5)Drinking more Tea. 6) Pursuading the british army that their children are too important to go to war torn Iraq/Afganistan. Im sorry if offend anybody on here but lets face the facts, the queen is the only one who actually does any work and even she has it easy. I do understand that the Royal family are important to British Society/culture etc and that I have no problem with, i just wish they did more for their money! You really haven't got a F@CKING CLUE:blink:
