I have this piggy back ecu on my supra (although didnt know when I bought it ;) ) does anyone have or know where I can get the software that is needed to set it up or remap etc? Have been in touch with HKS Europe and they said they dont support it and said whatever you do be it on your head.... :innocent:

If you find the software give me a shout! I have a HKS F-Con V too, as far as I'm aware it uses the same PID for your afr's as the Pro does so really unless your changing your entire setup it should run fine, and adapt to mods as you add them, but it just wont be the 'best' setup if you know what I mean, it really depends on how your cars running at the mo, what are your afr's on WOT?

There are dip switch settings on the front, that can be preconfigured to change to different maps(its got to be done when being mapped) I wouldnt play around with these

Write to HKS Europe then, and state your case! If enough people want the product, and it's possibly obsolete to them, they may consider releasing it, who knows? personally I wouldn't support any ecu that held the software within its own dealer network. If I buy a bottle of wine I want to be free to uncork it in the swimming baths, get *issed and drown myself, if that so pleases me! Not to be told that it will only be un corkable at selected bars.

Ok Bit more info as just spoke to them on phone

You need to pay a £500 license fee per yr for the software and dongle

You also need to have a dyno before they will even consider supply the software to you.

They also have to come check out all your premises and you need to pay for the engineer to come out for the day.

The list goes on

:omg:

Just a thought but could you not have a word with Charlie at SRR and see if there is any arrangement you two can come too?
