Havard
Had a guy turn up at my house this afternoon. He was offering some decking cheap and was also offering to fit it! We paid him £500 cash. What do you lot think. He's coming back to finish tomorrow, but I am not sure about the quality!! http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/7175/pict1034oa4.jpg Looked a doddle to fit too!! Sorry I'm bored!! H.

Shadow Beast
Hubby is an electrician and says it would look ten times better with a few nice decking lights, I think that can come in different colours and he will ensure all the cables are hidden from view so you do not spoil the look. Let me know if he can help.

JohnA
Not bad at all. Levelling is overrated - hell even the Parthenon is unlevel, and nobody noticed at the time. Recycling pallets is good for the environment too. You've got to be proud, have you brought in estate agents to revalue the house?

I am ringing the estate agents after the guy has finished. The neighbours are a bit jealous as we are the only ones with PROPER decking. And I was worried about the Supra causing problems with envious neighbours! H.
