Jake Posted August 27, 2007 Share Posted August 27, 2007 Yeah, that's what I thought. (Slip Diff and Slip Control are completely different things. ) Anyway, Slip Cont type of TC is what J-spec have. The TRC type of TC is on UKs. The UKs TC applies the brakes as well as cutting the injectors. Whichever type you have is crap anyway. Just turn that shit off when you get in the car. Though I might add that you should get used to the car first fella (especially when the rain and cold weather starts) then turn that rubbish off. We're heading into the write-off season and in almost all cases it's new owners that join that special club, so just take it easy while you learn how the car handles in cold/slippery conditions.
