ivan
But Honda are always at the back of the pack these days Ian.
RobSheffield
Go for the TVR, it wont be reliable but it will be fun Failing that, Golf R32
n boost
Bmw e46 m3 would fit your bill. There nice to drive and have lovely interior and build quality. A couple of mates have them and say there good on fuel. Theres plenty of mods available for these and are pretty reliable. I was thinking about selling my supe but realised nothing could replace it. Kopite
Would a M3 fit within the price range though? Which year M3 are we talking about? Cheers
Tom S
Ro, you not see the thread with the mis-priced ferrari for 14,995 Legally it is a for sale price surely.....
DannyB
youll be looking at a 2001 for the bmw m3, make sure its had any work done that was needed on these, was a problem with the >02s i think, make sure the VANOs system is all good aswell as thatll be costly! But if its all done youll get yourself a nice luxury car that can be practical and still blow most cars out of the water!
edd_t
you just can't drive mate ha! I was actually showing him how to drive, its his first rear wheel drive car (at the age of 27) where as I've been driving them since i was 20!
Lebsteif
Go for a 350Z with some nice deep dish wheels
ozz
The R32 is one of the first Golfs that I actually like. Not seen any on your budget though except high milers. Seem closer to 18k than 14k. A nice 350 would probably be my choice on that budget, something I did consider, you can get ones with 15k on the clock for that money. Actually, just checked on Pistonheads, a couple of R32s at that price now. I wouldn't have one over a nice blue 350 though.
michael
If it's reliability you're after, then the S2000 any day! A chap I know is on his 3rd engine now...

colsoop
Audi S4 (although not on your list) effortlessly quick and lots of room, also very understated.
RedM
S2000 with a Supra engine in it. Job done.
steb9780
I always liked the Audi's there's something about them that oozes a bit more class and quality than other cars. I also like the S2000's but unless they have some sort of wheels / body mods then they are just a touch bland. Nobody seems to have commented on the Civic. My girlfriend has an '03 civic sport (1.6 vtec engine) and it's brilliant to drive. Real comfy interior and all the little interior touches make it a real pleasure to drive. I really would be tempted in trying a type r based on the experience the gf's civic. But if you like torque there a bit crap.
SupraAyf
I have voted for the 350 as I am not at all keen on the rest of them. There is also the fact that I can pick one up for next to nothing at the auctions:)

Ian W
http://honda-portal.com/honda-videos.php?video_id=70 And the FD2 Civic Type R there is only £20k on the road from Japan (doubtful if you can get it overnight though )
Gaz Walker
350Z would be a bad idea for you Ro as you will turbo it. I agree though the superchargers are not all that. Twin turbo's are where its at. I agree with several of the guys saying get a fast Audi - i'd definitely be thinking S4 which would fit the bill very nicely. Gaz.
