mawby
Time to sell my Legacy. We bought it as we thought we would need a big estate car to lug stuff around in, but in reality its size just isn't useful to us any more so it's time for a change. The car is around the Swindon area. I'll post up some pictures hopefully tomorrow. mawby
Price lowered to £6k or near offer as a quick search on autotrader shows that to be the average price of similar cars now.

mawby
Nice motorIt certainly is. It's a very comfortable car to crusie down the motorway in. The AWD and adjustable suspension means it can be used on wet grass or driven up pot-holed tracks. And the equipment spec has everything I think was available for it at the time. mawby
Last chance to grab youself a very nice estate car before I take the dreaded route of advertising on AutoTrader.
mawby
After 6 weeks of advertising on Autotrader I managed an amazing total of... absololutely bugger all interest. Well once you take out all of the calls from companies wanting £100 to sell my car, and all the emails from my very dearest comrade who will send me a cheque from their shipping company as long as I send a cheque back because they over paid me. Ah well. Looking out of the window at it chucking it down with rain, maybe now wouldn't be the right time of year to jump back into a Supra for the daily commute to work. Maybe not being able to sell the Legacy is a sign my Supra wants to stay nicely tucked up under its car cover away from the horrible weather! (Although if anyone is interested in the car I will still sell it, then I might be able to afford some marbles to put in all my children's stockings at Christmas)
mawby
The car has definitely got to go now. We are looking to move some 163 miles away from where I work so I need a cheap diesel to commute to work. I went to test drive a little VW Polo today and asked how much they would give me for the Legacy part-ex.... £2000! The cheeky git even had a near identical one of the forecourt for £6000! Anyway, I'd rather reduce the price again so someone gets a bargain then let a garage have it stupidly cheap part-ex just so they can then make several grand out of it for doing nothing. The car was serviced last week by Interpro. Jody can vouch that there's not much wrong with it. It does has a rattly exhaust heat shield, and it will need a new auto-box filter at the next service, but other than that it's in very good condition. I'm willing to let it go for £4500 now, or if anyone has a diesel Polo or Golf of the around the same value and wants to swap/part-ex then let me.
