Alarm Dilemma

Mornin all,

I trying to take the last piece of my dash off to spray but the alarm has flumoxed me. There's only two ways I can see in getting the last bit off - 1. Remove the cover to the steering column and hope that it reveals a connector, or, 2. Snip the wires, spray the dash, then spice it back together and hope that everything still works ok.

Any help or advice please? Oh & it's a Selca alarm - if that helps.

Thankyoop!

Just had another look at it and the LED is attached to a small green board (like a circuit board), there are 3 wires leading from that (which are soldered to the board). The 3 wires go through the bezzle (which is bigger than the hole) and then through the hole in the dash.

I tried to attach a picture but it won't let me for some reason (not having much luck today!).

Do you reckon it's safe to just snip the wires and then splice them back together again?

I think messy it will have to be. Nah, deffo can't push the bezzle through. If only I could download that pic....

Cheers for the reply's Matt, I shall get on to that tomorrow - it's gonna look sweet when it's finished! I promise! :)
