Various EManage Ultimate Questions

OK fellas,

Just reinstalled my EMU unit and have a few questions. I have searched a lot and done a fair bit of playing myself. Anyway, just thought I'd throw the following out for discussion:

1. Running stock 440cc injectors what lag time figures are people using?

---I have tried 0 annd 0, 0.09 and 0.09, 1.1 and 0.7 etc and am currently on 0 and 0. She is running a little leaner than before though and idling about 150rpm lower.

2. What sort of ignition timing are people seeing at various boost and rpm levels when flat out.

---I am seeing 30 degrees under 4000rpm at 5-6psi, 22degrees at 12psi and still making somewhere over 24 degrees at 15 psi up in the 5800rpm kind of area. :D

3. How about intake temperatures? Does anyone know for sure in the temps shown with ver 2.0 are accurate?

---I am seeing aout 40 degrees C with ambient at 15 degrees and engine bay around 45 degrees. I'm not sure if this is correct.

4. Is the speed input accurate or does it have the same kind of error as the speedo?

---Apparently I pulled 53-80 in 2.7 seconds in 3rd gear and then 85-110 in 3.7 seconds in 4th gear which seems reasonable for 1.1bar! :D

By the way, all of this is from my second run doing any kind of datalogging so I may have a few errors somewhere but will play more tomorrow. :)

All input appreciated.

Just had a look at Ian's DBB dataloggin thread and the DBB T67 in 3rd pulls 53-80 in approx 1.9secs and 85-110 in 2.7secs. Good comparison.

Looks like a good arguement for me trying more than 1.1bar of boost and also leaning out my .

I'm having a little play trying to really optimise my twin setup before going to a single... :)

0,02

Mine has never successfully logged ign timing.

Don't use this , i have the knock enabled.

4. Is the speed input accurate or does it have the same kind of error as the speedo?

AFAIK the same as speedo.
