Justin
Thankyou I ran pretty much straight after that big break when they cleaned the track up, so air was cool and so was the engine. Had a little argument with the GF cos she said it was 12.something and I said she must have been reading the slip wrong to start with! Jamiep says he watched that run tho Were you in the black car lined up next to the 350Z?

hadyn
whats TDRs spec?
MONKEYmark
whats TDRs spec? he sent me this now have a PI 4,000 stall TC with fluidyne tranny cooler / spal pull fan, along with decats, exhaust and restrictor ring giving about 1.1bar boost. I was also running BFG Pro Comp T/A Drag Radials in 275 width on UK 17" rear wheels. I wasn't running race fuel, just Shell Optimax. That's it though, no other power mods (still unopened engine, std J-spec turbos, still standard SMIC rather than a frount mount) so wondering what to do next to move up the list. Looking at the guys above me: he will explain better.nice jump on previous time.
hadyn
Yeah that is an excellent time. I was lead to believe you could probably get in the mid 12s with drag radials on the rears of a BPU (with smic) car - no need for uprated autobox? Justin
How about a top speed for the TOTB 5 standing mile Mark? Mine was 162.3mph Wish we had more distance. Reckon I could have gone on a fair bit.
tDR
Cheers guys I still dunno what my top speed run was That was my last run on strip too - really wanna know what my 1/4 mile part of that run was too as I was back on my road tyres. Be a good comparison, I remember thinking the car still hooked up pretty well. Need to get myself down to the pod on a day when they prep the track - get some of this high grip action goin on. Maybe pull a 1.6 or under 60ft like the yanks seem to be able to - that'd feel real good on the launch. Cheers, Brian.
