michael
Taken from another forum where it was taken from another forum, the photos aren't good enough quality to really show what's being discussed but it certainly looks as though it has LED strobes in the windscreen. Spotted this in a car park in Coventry today. Had to do a double take!!! Unmarked Cayman reg DSK 855. You can see from the photos the strobe lights either side of the rear view mirror and there was also one either side of the windscreen at the bottom. Also a flip up sign on the parcel shelf. Looked inside and the centre console had been replaced with a touch screen and there was a bank of buttons with things like 'front strobe' 'rear strobe' etc Very crafty!! If it's true and it is in the Coventry area have any of the locals seen it in action? It's not the usual borrowed exotic with stickers and lights for the car shows, it's a entrapment / baiting machine.
RedM
That's where all the speeding fines are going then! Thank god they have something nice to drive so that they can concentrate more on catching the real criminals.

Bobbeh
it's a entrapment / baiting machine. Totally agree, and when you hear the police complain that they are short on funds you know where they're going.
Stevie Boy
Does seem like and extravagant buy for undercover policing. There's plenty of higher powered production cars worth a lot less they could be wasting tax payers money on........
michael
Not exactly practical for filling with cones and suspects either.
