Animal
Ooh, nice motard. I'd seriously love one of the big (960cc?) KTM's. Used to have a 610 Husky til it got nicked. When I finally stop spending money on the Supe I'll get another motard, they're an absolute blast. When I got my Husky, it still needed running in. After a few weeks of gentle throttle use, I set off from a set of lights using the same amount of throttle as before and the front wheel came up about 3 feet - "That'll be the engine run in" I thought. Hardly used the front wheel after that...
RobSheffield
Classy mate, the Police around here took on a fleet of DRZ-400s to catch the scramblers on the local pit tops

Blackie
Classy mate, the Police around here took on a fleet of DRZ-400s to catch the scramblers on the local pit tops that would be the trail version, mine should be quicker than them
RobSheffield
How much did you pay matey?
Blackie
£3300 for an 55 plate thats done about 2000 miles, its a bit more than the trails one because its a factory built supermoto or motard not a scrambler with slicks as it were
RobSheffield
Id prefer a Supermoto than a trials...
Animal
I actually managed to get my name on the list for a Husqvarna Nox, but had to pull out when I couldnt get it insured for less than £1500 quid.
Blackie
Id prefer a Supermoto than a trials... deffinate, best of both worlds off and on road. a trails one will do about 60-70 on the road but the super is geared different and will do about 100 (on a private track)

Blackie
just had a look at the Husqvarna Nox, how bloody nice is that
Animal
Nah, that was back in about 2000 when they were released. The daft thing was, the Nox was a full race spec motard, all magnesium & titanium parts and the best quote I got was about £1900. I then asked about a CCM R30 and the cheapest quote I got for that was £2800! I think there was a trend for motards being stolen or something at the time.
