4leks
They said a Porsche 911 tubro would take 550m to stop from 172 and from the report tonight he tried it lol. Apparently the porker was wriggling he braked so hard. Brown trousers? idiots...they should go to school and do some maths as colsoop alsready mentioned 997 Turbo stops in 99 feet from 60mph 1 feet is 0.3048 m, 99 feet = 30.17m guy was doing 172mph, it is 2.86 times more however the stopping distance is not gonna be 86.28m (30.7m x 2.86) & nowever near 550m they should have invited math teacher to court

Apparently the porker was wriggling he braked so hard. Brown trousers? Other sources said 681 meters ffs! Interesting, I've been at 190mph in a 996 and that only took 300 meters with plenty in reserve to stop. I reckon an Aristo on twin pot j-specs, with 4 passengers and a boot full of luggage can stop from 172mph in under 681 meters.
JustGav
It is the £454 that annoys me... I got done at 115mph, and I ended up paying a lot more in fines, admittedly I did get lucky and get away with 5 points.... But I was at least a speed limit away from the speed he was doing... No excuse really for me either though.
GeordieSteve
No he wasn't in a customers car. We're a prestige car hire company and provide replacement cars if you're car is involved in a none fault accident. The porker was part of the fleet
