merckx
A quote from this story. "It is extremely selfish. Nobody has the right to put other people's lives at risk like that." Very true!
Muffleman
A motorist has pleaded guilty to driving at 172mph on a rural A-road, making him the fastest speeder ever caught in Britain. Written in such a way so as to lay down the gauntlet ?

Class One
I think this was discussed when the bloke first got arrested. I can't remember if I was pm'd or something, I may be confused, wasn't he employed to ferry customers cars and he got arrested for TDA and dangerous driving. I see the TDA charges were dropped does anyone know if it's been referred to the Crown Court for sentencing? ( I haven't read the article). imi
Its a truly serious crime, being a motorist.....lets hope they throw the book at him.
ivan
They probably will. Unless it turns out he's really an undercover policeman who was just familiarising himself with a new car.
Havard
Will be intresting to see what he gets:) Bummed repeatedly in prison is a certainty!! Its a truly serious crime, being a motorist.....lets hope they throw the book at him. Or a spear!! I must admit though, you have to be either stupid or have balls as big as coconuts to travel that fast. I only need to get over a ton and my bum starts twitching!! That said, I don't fancy losing my job and going to jail in the interest of having a couple of minutes of fun. H.

Pete
10 weeks isn't so bad. I don't expect he'll get on well with the 'real criminals' inside though, I'm sure he'll learn some new trades whilst inside to help him cope now he doesn't have a job. I wonder how long his driving ban is for?
