RobDogg
Today was the funeral of my friends mum and after all going to the pub after the service my friend was knackered and needed to go home. I gave her a lift but as soon as she got in the car she yakked all over the front passenger seat. As soo as I got her home I cleaned all the sick up and used the upholery cleaner about 10 times to try and get it out while it was still fresh. I scrubbed my knackers off for half an hour but it still reeks of puke. Anyone any ideas how to get rid of it or a cheap cloth passsenger seat? bmx1lew
unlucky man i hate the smell of sick, it depends if the acid in the sick has soaked through into the seat as thats the main hight of the smell, i would try get the cothers off and give the seat a good clean, and get some fabreez. Guest CoolsBlue
unbolt the seat, remove the cushion bits , 4 bolts, 2 on each side, and remove the foam and give the material and foam a good soaking over and over, u mite of just scrubbed at it, but remember the foam would of absorbed all that crappy puke....eiwwwww.... id just buy a new seat...hate that smell, and cant imagine it in my car urhhhhh

Havard
presumably she was more than a little upset? Ooops, apologies if I have got the wrong end of the stick. I usually associate going to the pub after a funeral with getting plastered!! Sorry! H.
RobDogg
She wasnt that drunk really but hadn't eaten much. I will give it another clean in a min and see what its like. She has got enough on her plate at the min without having to worry about my seat.
broomie
ive got a passenger seat knocking about but quite far away from you tho fella!
Mike_Mac
As has been said already IMO the only way to get rid of it is to strip the seat down and soak the foam inserts. Or you could upgrade to a leather interior (wipe clean - )

RobDogg
I have just soaked it with every cleaning product I could lay my hands on so I will give it an hour and see how it is. Its making me heave at the moment
colsoop
You need a bacterial type cleaner as thats whats causing the smell, get the seat out of the car and then go at it, while we have good drying weather
