green_dragon
Mine have never worked in the last 10 months of ownership:( What would cause this and how can I make them work? The plug seems ok as it has been off plenty of times in the past. Better start checking fuses then. Chris
Matt Harwood
It's a common fault. The pins inside the cluster need re-soldering. They're only hairline cracks, but it's enough to make them stop working.
green_dragon
Thanks for the info guys, I was starting to think it had been sabotaged to hide an engine fault or something. Paranoid much? Chris

Matt Harwood
The only lights that shouldn't illuminate when the ignition is immobilised are the Engine Management light, Alternator light, & Trac lights. All the others should light up.
stt
The company that used to service my car had devised a frame to put it in and resolder all the joints with,It took them about 10 minutes and thats about the only thing they were really good for! Just the solder joints have gone dry so if you know someone whos dead handy with the iron then im sure they could sort it for you
