Thorin
I'd heard it was finished now, thanks for the link to the article, good read... However, tell Lee he's a tart and he should have posted it himself on here I'd also like a ride in it some time, I'll have to get up to York and Elvington more often! Lewis
That Lee's Mark? Fair play to him, must have been a killer to be without the car for that long.
tDR
mark - thought this had come home a while back after running a 10 over in NZ? Has it since gone back for more work? Cheers, Brian.
MONKEYmark
its not gone back for more work its done and dusted.the detail on the welding is amazing.imagine driving with that 4 plate clutch.i been out in his car on stock turbos with 2 plate clutch and was mad then.great car and brilliant white paint.seen some white gtr`s and they off white.sounds well when he started it up. the guy rob who built it is a sound bloke too.always ready to help. lee cant post as his membership ran out,lee is a sound down to earth bloke and not up his own ass like some owners.im looking forward to my go in it.rob has taken some power out of it to save 3rd gear as its a bit weak.there was a video ov it somewhere running the 10.7 on its 1st outing.will try find.its got a link ecu on it too. michael
what exactly is an RB30, is it just a bigger version of the RB26? In this case it's an RB30DET, the RB30E 3.0L block with the RB26 head on, if it's written RB30DETT it means it's the OS Giken variant with the internals, crank etc upated. Sounds like a cracking way to get a really good job done though, their attention to details is spot on, obviously it's a major piece of marketing for them too but Lee must be well chuffed
