stt
Its nothing to worry about whatsoever the trim is stuck in with the glue from the windscreen, its not uncommon for that to happen but it will take around 30 seconds to sort it,it just means that the glue on the windscreen was put a millimetre or two farther in than it should be,Its no big deal though and it doesnt make any odds when or where it gets done
Elliot
Do you need special glue for it? Or shall I DIY it?! I'm so slack, I still haven't phone them!
stt
No its not quite like that mate,If you bodge it up yourself it could invalidate you warrenty so get it down to them to sort it,its just a case of putting polyurethane glue down into the aperture but it needs to be done by them though mate! Paul Laing
I have a small chip on mine but i got another one on the way home from Thor the other week. Need to call the insurers. Do you think maybe all the windscreens they keep in are from a UK spec, maybe they have to order the Jap ones, shouldn't see why though..... Paul
Although your screen won't drop out I'd go slow before getting it sorted as mine did this at 100mph and shit the life out of me and my mate as it repeatedly smacked against the side and roof of the car. We couldn't see what had happened from inside so I cut accross three lanes trying to stop. Didn't do any damage but the sudden shock of the noise could have resulted in me wiping out half the motorway Paul
