Blitz nur spec on a N/A

Guys I need your techy assistance, I wanna buy an exhaust, i've got the money to buy an exhaust, only one problem (well actually more than 1)

1. I've got an NA

2. They dont do the nurspec r for the NA

3. I'm a fussy bugger and i look the look of it over the hiper muffler

4. Went to top gear, guy said he could do me a dragon fire cat back system (that looks like a nur spec back box) that would face straight out, rather than at an angle with no silencer for £450 :)or £500 :( with a small silencer

Justins doing me good deal on a hiper, but i realy luv the look of the nur, i need to make a decision on one or the other by wednesday, b 4 i go insane.

My options

1. Get the draon fire system from top gear, but i question the quality of the back box and what it will sound like, but it will look good & will sound better than standard anyhow

2. Get the nurspec R rear box on its own, and see if top gear can make me cat back pipe, should sound awesome :)

3. buy the nur spec R complete cat back system for the supra TT and ask them to fabricate it on

4. go for the hiper and save my self alot of hassel

Questions

1. option 1 & 2 afforadble, option 2 & 3 other than cost of the system or back box can anyone guess a price for the work involved

2. will i lose performance through option 3? as its not designed for the NA

all opinions greatly apprectiated as my brains failing quickly

cheers

Option 2 will be much easier than option 3 I reckon. It'll only take em an hour to bend up a bit of pipe to join the backbox to the cat, they could spend ages messing about with an existing bit to try and make it fit.

A word of caution though - I had some exhaust work done by Top Gear in St Albans, and I was so excited about starting the car up and hearing it, I didn't think to check their workmanship. I found some nasty bubblegum weld and a badly re-bent bit of pipe when I got home :(

If it was me, I'd go for the Hiper. They sound excellent.

I know i'm being really picky, but i'm putting visual perfection over oral pleasure (is that the right term), I think i'll probably go for option 2, Adam can you recommend somewhere else other than Top Gear to do the bendy pipe work, if you're not too happy with the quality?

cheers guys

O.k. i'm getting hyper about getting a hiper but is it difficult to fit on your own? & has anyone heard or seen an apexi N-1 exhaust? similar looks to the hiper, but not really heard the name being tossed about in here any reasons why?

cheers

For quality custom exhaust work, you can't go wrong with Hayward and Scott. My mate has just had one made up for his GT40 and the quality is sensational - it makes the Blitz and HKS stuff look agricultural!

Expensve though, and I'm not sure where they're based.

Apexi N1 are popular in the states but I know nothing else about them.

Got my nur spec back box on my car , fitted directly on to the original system without mods, and had both silencers removed, I just want to say one thing "fuk" is it loud :D , a mate of mines got a hyper system on his car on his car and its even louder than that

Thanxs to justin at torque i.c. for sorting things out

I would post pics but i'm sure you've all seen blitz a million times before

cheers
