Pete
I know they're not to everyones taste, but I couldn't help but notice the ad for this in our local paper tonight. (Perhaps because it was taking up a full page) £14k for a brand spanking new Impreza WRX seems to be an absolute bargain to me! http://www.mh2k.com/information.aspx?v=29269&mo=475&dm=
Jake
Bloody hell! Lot of car for the money. I'm almost tempted, it's a shame they're so damn ugly. Isn't Fat controller trying to sell his 06 one for like 16k ?
michael
Crikey that does seem cheap - I don't like the spoilers on the current models but at least the lights are acceptable The new one isn't available until 2008 is it? Seems early to be selling these off so cheaply, dealers quote ~£20k for them as far as I can remember, even the "farmer spec" 1.5 estate is £12,500. colsoop
The small print says you wont be the "first registered owner" of the vehicle. Isn't that similar to dealerships that pre register cars to get them sold, they are normally a fair bit cheaper than retail too.
RobSheffield
As Col says, its a pre reg special, but even still, its a nice price
neil tt
Thats still a very good deal though:)
Elmo
You'd think they'd do more with the interior, looks like something from a Fiesta!
Jake
The small print says you wont be the "first registered owner" of the vehicle. That wouldn't bother me. Should it do? I can't think why that would be any more than a trivially minor negative point.

Not at all, it was just a reason why it is cheaper. Only somebody daft would care that they weren't the first owner
Jake
Just had a look on autotrader and that price seems way too good to be true. Seems like those Imprezas are good for a few miles too : http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_popup.jsp?searchform=&modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&photo=1&state=none&sort=5&hassearched=Y&make=SUBARU&min_pr=75&source=0&model=IMPREZA&max_pr=&miles=40&agerange=&mileage=&postcode=po8%2B8hy&bodyid=0&fuelid=0&colour=&transmissionid=0&start=1&distance=34&adcategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200733106432559
Conrad
No this is legit. Motorhouse are only a couple miles away from me (Cannock branch) and they have shit loads of cheap delivery mileage cars and part ex's. It's basically a car supermarket that don't charge the earth - Carcraft anyone? My old man has bought at least 5 motors from them. Including his current Mercedes CLK. Conrad
Oh yeah - Motorhouse do register the cars in their name too - hence the 2nd owner thingy! Don't know why they do that, it's not as if the cars hang around that long. I remember they had a Continetal GT in their showroom up for £87k over a year ago. it was cheapest in the country by about 8 grand.

michael
Hehe, i used to work there Just follow the signs to the airport... There is one near my house, you can't get in without them taking your life story but it's nice to be able to get in all the unlocked cars and have a decent look at them once you've told the sales guy to go away. Thats it I used to go years back to see how i liked sitting n all the cars. A good place to work in many ways, but could get tedious. They opened Leeds just before i left actually, and now have a Newcastle branch and have moved into other markets too by all accounts...
