Sometimes due to memory leaks, sometimes bad drivers can have an impact (particularly the spooler service). What OS is it, and what service is stopping. MarkR Posted August 23, 2007 Share Posted August 23, 2007 Have you tried older versions of the driver, or PS instead of PCL and PCL5 and 6? I hate printers and I hate the spooler service even more. The only thing I hate more than that is users having printer issues on citrix.... nightmare... Thankfully I work in infrastructure, so no dealing with users... michael Posted August 23, 2007 Share Posted August 23, 2007 They just stop, it's Microsoft stuff, they add these tests in to make us work If it's 2000 / 2003 just setup the recovery functionality for the service that's causing issues and have it restart the service. I had this with the same printer models, downloaded the latest drivers from HP and hey presto! Then the new drivers starting doing the same thing on the citirx servers!!!
